I spent quite a bit of time on the phone with her on Monday. First of all, Lucy has been on the SCD herself for 16 years. She answered all of my questions, offered some tips and made it clear that if I had any more questions, she was just a phone call away. (People have posted on my SCD list that they have spent upwards of two hours on the phone with her.)
The shipping is amazing. I ordered Monday afternoon and my order was here Wednesday! And she is in Washington state!

Now, on to the almond flour. We love it! I made the Midas Gold Waffles (all the way at the bottom) and they were gooooood. Most importantly, they didn't upset Alex's tummy.

You can also make almond flour from sliced blanched almonds. They have them in the bulk section of the grocery store. You just whiz it all up in the food processor if you have one. It was (a bit) cheaper than the almond flour I got at the specialty store where I needed to get it, and more important, I didn't need to go out of my way.
